Braces

From infancy onward, our teeth can shift and misalign from a variety of factors. This can result in an underbite, an overbite, gaps between teeth, protrusion of the front teeth, and many more scenarios. Braces will help realign our teeth to its natural position, allowing for a nice healthy smile.

Bridges

Accidents happen and sometimes our permanent teeth are lost. What results is a gap or multiple gaps in the jawline that can be uncomfortable or a nuesance. One treatment option to fix that is having a bridge. As the name suggests, it bridges the the gap between two teeth by utilizing them as anchors.

Crowns

Sometimes the crown can be severely damaged or decayed while the root is in perfect condition. For situations like these, a crown is a viable solution to restore the decayed and damaged portion of the tooth.

Dentures and Partial Dentures

For cases when a majority of teeth is lost in either the upper or lower jaw, full dentures or partial dentures can be a solution to restore your smile and support you in speaking, chewing, and swallowing.

Extractions

If a tooth is too damaged and not salvageable or will compromise the integrity of the other teeth, then an extraction is a highly recommended solution to maintain the health of the oral cavity and prevent possible damage to the surrounding teeth.

Fillings

The most common restoration solution for cavities that have not reached the roots of the tooth are filings. There are two main types of filling options: amalgam and composite. There are advantages and disadvantages to each depending on the patients wants and needs.

Implants

If a tooth is lost, there are several resoration options. One option is an implant where a screw-like post is rooted into the jaw bone and a crown is mounted to the screw head to match the surrounding teeth. Speak with your local dentist to see which restoration procedure fits your needs.

Root Canals

When a cavity is left untreated, it will erode the crown further and eventually infect the root of the tooth. This will cause extreme discomfort and can have negative impacts in daily activities and introduce restless nights. Situations like this will require a root canal to get rid of the cavitiy as well as the damaged root.

Teeth Cleaning and Exams

A routine check-up is important to keep a record of the patients oral health. Eating habits and oral hygiene consitency can have a tremendous impact on our teeth, gums, and overall health. Teeth cleaning and exams enable dentists to ensure a patient is properly maintaining their oral health to prevent any decay and future discomforts.

X-Rays

One tool to help dentists diagnose the health of a tooth is through x-rays. Along with cleanings and exams, x-rays are required to be updated frequently so dentists can monitor and identify any tooth decay or abnormalities in the oral cavity.
